Varied.

arksogof: Good animation, and I like the screaming sort of. It was okay.

Taco: My award for best animation.

Xock: Not so good. Next time don't procrastinate. Or think of a joke.

KillerBunny: Does it HAVE be that? I mean... I mean come on. Seriously.

Zombie Panda: My award for best humor. I like the joke. Wish it wasn't a loop.

Italian: Same as the third guy. Next time try more.

Overall it's an okay collaberation. You should only ask a few of these artists back.

Arskagarf responds:

Theres actually a story behind my part, our forum was hacked by Limon awhile back and the screamer was one of the things that came up.

You deserve my full attention and review.

Are you still looking for an art style? Stop. Knock it off. This is a very excellent piece of work where you've found something absolutly beutiful. I'm going to give the honor of giving the best attention I can give to you since you gave the best attention possible to your work. Only fair right?

Graphics/Style: Your art is, again, magnificent. A great style that really reminds me of the 'Sin City' movie. Your animation though usually falls a little short when you do the movement in objects like flashing swords, falling bodies and whatnot. Too much unrealistic slide or straigh motion. I'd say invest a bit more time and try for the more manual approach (like with the candle and blood flow). Keep the animation very smooth and not too much sliding.

Sound: Great music choice. Next why don't you go for some good voice actors? I know, it'll be hard to turn down your friends but not all of them are going to fit the bill. Get the good ones. Bad voices can knock a hole in your animation.

Script/Plot/Violence: Good violence usage, good plot idea, and nice attempt, but I say it really falls into the 'typical anime' bill. Protaginist is a charming young man (in a suit/clean) who is quite full of himself when winning while he takes down a long-haired baddie who seems to have no joy except to get the good guy. Sounds a bit 'Coyboy Bebop' don't it? Try to stray from anything with the swords and guns deal. With this art style, go less for the 'cool' factor and more for the 'shock' factor. E.G. Sin City where the "good" guy smashes a head. Also yes, in your comment you seem come off worried that the first scene in pointless. It's totally okay to have areas just to show how evil/good/neutral a charactor really is. Like I said though, aim away from the Anime style. Animes are usually very blunt offering no secrets to a charactor, pushing only the plot lines.

Humor: Unneccicary.

Overall: Continue with the style. Of course you'll no doubt want to move on to something else, but don't forget how well you preformed with this one. It'd make for a nice mini-series, but I say scratch the plot and diolog here and go for something more original. Make sure it moves a little quicker as well.

I'm going to put you in my author favorites (and I'm quite picky too!) so I hope to see more from you soon. I'm glad your learning and you have much potential. Never lose patience on a piece of Art!

Confusing

The Start-stop method really doesn't work here. It's too slow and the areas before it contain nearly no action. Redo it to be faster, longer, and don't let the two songs double loop in the end.

Funny with improvement needed.

I love the work and animation. This is proof how a little background scene along with some music background can take a movie that would otherwise be considered boring and slow and turn it into something fun to watch. Also, I'd like to give credit to the writer(s). Excellent script and you have some jokes that I really found funny.

Helpful advice, invest in a nice microphone. Do you guys have a website? Maybe you can start one up and sell some advertising, eventually using some of that spare change to buy one. I understand, not everyone can have a studio quality mic. Secondly, stay away from gaming jokes unless your gaming themed. They get a bit overused lately, and unless you focus on the video game world the jokes can seem out of place.

Otherwise keep it up!

rockymike responds:

Hey, thanks. I had to get my digs in at the PS3...but it does seem, these days, that I'm not the only one. We do need better quality microphones. We actually recorded the dialog for F.U.3 in a recording studio, but I felt that was over doing it for this small production. D lives 5 hours from the rest of us and I didn't think it was worth a trip for him just to record 5 lines of dialogue. Our website is going up in the next few months so we will (hopefully) get some advertising revenue out of that. Quality mircorphones all around!! Thanks for the review. It was much helpful.

Not much good.

Too short and your initial sound doesn't sync up correctly. You should fix it and resubmit. It's nothing worthwhile right now.

MRD-Productions responds:

Must be something up with either your net connection or your pc. Syncs perfectly on my pc, and everyone elses whos watched it. Id fix that first.

Excellent use of sound!

Excellent use of syncing and matching that animation to the scene. Very good job. I love the voice back and laughed in the end. I enjoy how it take the political parody without really insulting content of speech or going after principle. Actually, it fits better in just general humor then political satire.

Very well done. The speech done, are his pauses real pauses? Doesn't surprise me. I must say Bush has done much better over the past view years. They must have bought a better vociebox from Radio Shack.

Interesting Start

That was interesting. A fair start with some less than medium quality sound and graphics. At least you spent a little time on it, and it was a nice choice of music for the background. A fair passing grade from me. Usually though Death doesn't kill people, he just takes the soul.

Simple but short.

An unfunny piece where some object shoots a zombie. It has some voice acting and decent graphics, but it's too short and not funny despite the light attempt. It still barely hits passing in my book but it is proof of an ability to use flash. It's unfortunate that the author didn't apply his attention to make it longer then 9 seconds.

Smiley-Bob responds:

I agree. We are just sorta focusing on getting members...then we'll make long good flashes.

That explains alot.

Well it certaintly explains why...

But anyways, the animation is another short but sweet. It's funny...but it's not hillarious and doesn't have alot going for it.

Not bad, it deserves the protection but little more.

A Nice short film.

It's very nice. Very smooth animation and good use of sound. A bit short, but nothing that keeps it from being a bad animation. It's very good and gains a fair and passing grade.

My reviews are tough, and my voting is strict. Keep in mind I'm only here to help you, but you have to put in effort. I'll give you passing points, but good luck getting a vote 5 or a review 10 from me.
